About the event
A bit more about Aoibhin (who you may recognise from The Pottery Cafe!)
Aoibhin Maguire, born in 1997 in Belfast, is a London-based painter. She earned her BA in Fine Art from Lancaster University and an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art. Maguire has exhibited internationally, with her first solo show in 2023 at Pollen Gallery, Belfast. Her work blends vivid imagination with personal narratives, exploring themes of nostalgia, identity, and emotion. Drawing from Celtic traditions and her Belfast upbringing, she creates surreal, emotional landscapes that reflect on the complexities of life and Irish identity.
