Cancellation Policy

Northcote Art School – Booking & Attendance Policy Booking & Payment All classes and courses must be booked and paid for in advance to secure a place. Spaces are limited and bookings are confirmed once payment has been received. Most classes run as termly courses, and when booking you are reserving a place in the class for the full term, rather than paying for individual sessions. Cancellations & Refunds Once a course has started, fees are non-refundable as your place in the class has been reserved. If you need to cancel before the start of term, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds or credits may be offered depending on the notice given and whether the place can be filled. Missed Classes If a student misses a class due to illness, holidays, or other commitments, make-up lessons are not guaranteed. We will always do our best to accommodate a make-up session where possible, but this is offered at our discretion and subject to availability. Each class often works on different projects, so it is not always possible for students to swap into another group. Changing Classes If a student begins a class and it becomes clear that it is not the right fit, we are happy to help find a more suitable group where possible. Students may move to another class provided there is space available in an appropriate age group or level. Please speak to Sophie, and we will always do our best to accommodate where we can. Class Cancellations by Northcote Art School If a class has to be cancelled due to teacher illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will either: arrange a replacement class, or offer a credit for the missed session. Clothing & Personal Belongings Art can be messy. Aprons are provided, but we strongly recommend wearing old clothes. Northcote Art School cannot take responsibility for damage to clothing or personal belongings brought into the studio. Behaviour We aim to create a positive, respectful, and creative environment for all students. If behaviour repeatedly disrupts the class or affects other students, we may need to discuss the situation with parents and, in rare cases, reserve the right to withdraw a student from the class.
